Be the voice of Fullstory to AI builders and developers.
Your agent is fast. It’s also blind. It can’t see the user rage-clicking the checkout button right now, so it keeps answering the wrong question. Fullstory is the platform that gives AI agents live behavioral context to spot and fix those problems, and builders plug in through the Fullstory MCP server.
We need someone who speaks fluent AI to show them how. You’ll write blogs, run hands-on builder nights, and earn the trust of the people who decide what ships.
You will report to the VP of Product Marketing and own making Fullstory a default tool for developers and AI builders.. You’ll spend about 70% of your time on technical storytelling for builders and 30% on classic product marketing, including go-to-market strategy, positioning and messaging, and launch planning.
In a typical day, you might:
Package how Fullstory works into agent skills, plugins, SDK guides, and technical explainers that developers actually use. Storytelling ability is key
Write blog posts, developer docs, and posts for X and LinkedIn that become the canonical content for developers building on Fullstory.
Build starter kits and sample repos on GitHub that take a developer from zero to a working agent with behavioral context in an afternoon.
Host hands-on field events and meetups where people build, not sit through slides.
Bring what you hear from developers back to Product, Engineering, and the rest of Marketing, and change what we ship because of it.
Track adoption and activation, find where builders stall between their first snippet and their first value, shorten time-to-value, and fix what blocks them.
Here's what we're looking for:
Have shipped something technical, such as a repo, a demo, a tool, or a tutorial, and taught someone else to use it. Side projects, personal sites, open-source work, and hackathons count as well.
Explain a technical product to an engineer and to an executive, in that order, on the same day.
Use AI tools daily, such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or other LLM-based tools, and expect to do the work of a larger team with them.
Nice to have: experience in developer marketing, developer relations, or product marketing for developer tools, plus experience with PLG, developer onboarding, MCP, agent frameworks, SDKs, or CLI tooling, and a track record of events or content that developers shared without being asked.
The base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $165,000 USD. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, contingent upon Fullstory meeting its performance
