In every deployment, you will apply three core competencies:
- Data & Diagnosis: Digging into our rich Ops Database to establish source-of-truth metrics, build diagnostic dashboards, and isolate high-ROI operational opportunities.
- Process Mapping & System Redesign: Deep-diving into "as-is" workflows alongside frontline clinicians and operators, then architecting standard operating models designed to scale rapidly.
- Interventions & Operational Rigor: Stepping directly into high-stakes operational situations to deploy immediate tactical fixes, while institutionalizing long-term governance so redesigned processes operate with discipline.
First Deployments: Practice Operations & Unit Economics: Your first deployments will embed you at the heart of our clinical delivery – Practice Operations. In this seat, you will partner directly with clinical leadership, strategic finance, and product to optimize unit economics & throughput, and to delight a rapidly growing medical staff of 200+ specialized physicians. Key Outcomes & Responsibilities will be:
- Unit Economics Optimization: Partner directly with Strategic Finance to analyze and improve our primary P&L driver – physician cost efficiency. Identify operational levers across productivity variance, punctuality, and scheduling efficiency to systematically lower unit delivery costs.
- Office of the CMO: Direct the operations of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Associate CMOs (ACMOs) as a “Chief of Staff”. Partner directly with clinical leaders to prepare executive briefings, schedule strategic physician touchpoints, and automate clinical governance processes.
- Cross-Functional Practice Triage: Own and lead the Practice Management Sync (meeting 3x weekly). Serve as the operational quarterback triaging acute physician escalations across Legal (contracts/amendments), Product / Engineering (PACS / viewer bugs), and Scheduling – driving root-cause fixes so issues don’t repeat.
- Radiologist Performance & Case Mix Analytics: Leverage our database to analyze performance cohorts across 200+ radiologists. Build analytics around "case mix" (what studies each radiologist reads) to balance clinician satisfaction with platform throughput and revenue capture.
- Physician Experience & Operational Policy: Translate clinician feedback into institutional operational improvements. Lead projects ranging from high-level policy redesign (e.g. PTO frameworks, shift equity) to infrastructure reliability initiatives (e.g. workstation & software tooling).
Who You Are:
- 2 – 4 years of experience in high-caliber business environments, including top-tier management consulting firms, investment banking, or Strategy & Operations / BizOps at high-growth tech startups.
- Analytical Horsepower: Highly proficient in quantitative analysis. You let data dictate your hypotheses, and you have experience with the tools needed to facilitate (e.g. XLS, Tableau / Omni, AI tooling)
- Operational Grit: You don't just build frameworks on slides – you want to roll up your sleeves, talk to clinicians, diagnose messy operational realities, and implement practical solutions on the ground.
- Executive Presence & Stakeholder Management: Comfortable working directly with C-suite executives, senior physicians (CMO/ACMOs), and technical product teams. You can turn complex operational data into concise, persuasive executive narratives.
- Structured Problem Solver: Exceptional ability to take an ambiguous, multi-variate problem and break it into clear hypotheses, actionable analyses, and operational interventions.
