Title: CPT-11545 Marketing & Business Development Virtual Assistant
Independent Contractor – CPT-11545 Marketing & Business Development Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Junior-Advanced Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
An established Relationship and Emotional Leadership Coach is seeking a proactive Marketing VA to support community engagement, content marketing, relationship-based business development, partnership outreach, events, and ongoing marketing execution.
At the initial 10-hour-per-week level, the role is primarily focused on Facebook community research and engagement, creative/Canva support, blog and newsletter publishing, and a smaller portion of business development and partnership outreach. This role should not be viewed as primarily a lead-generation or business-development position.
The client provides the overall strategy and core content and is looking for someone who can turn those ideas into action while understanding the business, noticing opportunities, and taking initiative within established priorities and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate is mature, intuitive, creative, highly detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable building genuine relationships online.
The role will begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the intention to grow toward 20–30 hours and greater marketing ownership over time.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
1. GoHighLevel (GHL) Management & Automation
- Manage and maintain the client's GoHighLevel CRM, including contacts, tags, pipelines, and lead records.
- Create, update, and troubleshoot GHL workflows and automations particularly in the SMM part of the platform.
- Create and manage lead magnets, opt-in forms, landing pages, and marketing funnels.
- Assist with setting up GHL systems for upcoming online courses and programs.
- Monitor workflows and automations to ensure that leads and customers receive the correct communications at the appropriate times.
- Maintain organized CRM records and ensure that leads are properly tracked and followed up.
- Assist with website updates and basic website design within the client's existing platform.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing marketing processes through GHL features and automation.
2. Social Media Management & Content Marketing
- Manage and maintain the client's social media presence across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn thru GHL.
- Plan, prepare, and schedule approximately four social media posts per week across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Manage YouTube content uploads and updates as required.
- TikTok management may be included depending on the client's final confirmation.
- Develop and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
- Repurpose existing content into social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that all published content reflects the client's brand voice, messaging, and target audience.
- Monitor social media engagement and provide recommendations for improving content performance.
- Identify relevant social media trends and opportunities that align with the client's business and audience.
3. Graphic Design & Creative Marketing
- Create visually appealing and professional social media graphics, promotional materials, and marketing assets.
- Update and customize existing Canva templates and branding materials.
- Design graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create promotional banners, flyers, event graphics, and digital marketing materials
- Assist with refreshing landing page visuals, website images, and VIP experience page graphics.
- Develop creative visual concepts for new programs and campaigns based on the client's direction.
- Select appropriate photos, layouts, colors, and design elements that align with the brand's message and target audience.
- Ensure that graphics communicate the intended message and emotional tone of each campaign.
- Maintain consistency across all visual marketing materials.
Important: The client already has established branding assets and Canva templates. The VA should be comfortable working with existing materials while demonstrating the creativity and confidence to develop new visual concepts when required.
The client is looking for someone who understands the difference between marketing a fun social event, promoting a couples retreat, and communicating sensitive relationship-related topics. Designs must reflect the actual purpose and audience of each campaign.
4. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Research potential business partners, referral partners, and professional networks that may generate opportunities for the client's relationship coaching business.
- Identify relevant professionals, particularly therapists specializing in emotional and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and relationship-related issues.
- Research potential referral sources and organizations that regularly engage with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties.
- Assist with identifying networking opportunities, partnerships, and relevant communities.
- Conduct professional outreach through email, social media, and other appropriate communication channels.
- Coordinate introductions, meet-and-greets, consultations, and follow-up communications.
- Assist with engaging relevant Facebook groups and online communities to promote the client's services and events, following group rules and client approval where necessary.
- Maintain an organized record of prospective partners, contacts, outreach activities, and business development opportunities.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates on new leads, conversations, and potential consultations.
The VA should be comfortable initiating conversations, building relationships, and inviting potential partners or prospects to connect. This is a relationship-driven business, so communication must be personable, natural, empathetic, and professional.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media management, and marketing support
- Strong hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL), particularly CRM management, workflows, automations, funnels, landing pages, and email/SMS campaigns.
- Experience creating and managing social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Strong graphic design skills, particularly using Canva or similar design platforms.
- Must have a Canva graphic design portfolio demonstrating relevant social media graphics, banners, flyers, promotional materials, and marketing designs.
- Ability to understand branding, visual storytelling, audience demographics, and campaign objectives.
- Strong creative judgment and the ability to translate ideas into appropriate marketing visuals with minimal instruction.
- Experience in content repurposing, email marketing, and basic on-page SEO optimization for digital content is preferred.
- Experience with lead generation, partnership research, or business development is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to communicate sensitively about relationship-related topics.
- Mature, professional, proactive, and confident in handling responsibilities independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketing tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver quality output without requiring repeated revisions.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Warm, confident, personable, and an excellent communicator
- Proactive, curious, resourceful, and comfortable bringing forward ideas
- Mature and emotionally intelligent
- Strong judgment and discernment, particularly because the client's content and work involve sensitive relationship issues
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Creative with strong marketing instincts
- Comfortable starting conversations and building relationships
- Able to work independently within established brand guidelines and priorities, while knowing when to ask for clarification or approval
