Our global Financial practice has unparalleled experience developing and implementing campaigns to advise clients on both long-term positioning to enhance valuation and navigating complex capital markets transactions. Members of our Financial practice are deeply experienced and focus their client work on mergers & acquisitions, shareholder activism, IPOs, strategic investor relations and financial communications, and restructuring. These specialists partner with global colleagues to bring a powerful and complementary combination of perspectives across stakeholders to help clients manage their reputations during critical financial events.
About the Role

- Produce and refine press releases, strategic plans, presentations, talking points, Q&As, briefing materials and other client communications with precision, speed and sound judgment.
- Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that connect business objectives with the needs of investors, financial media, employees, regulators and other influential stakeholders.
- Translate complex financial, strategic and market developments into clear, compelling narratives, messaging frameworks and recommendations for varied audiences.
- Contribute to strategic discussions with senior executives and collaborate closely with legal and financial advisors on sensitive, fast-moving matters.
- Plan and deliver high-stakes announcements and campaigns, including transaction communications, corporate positioning, media engagement and executive preparation.

- Manage drafting, review and approval processes across client teams and external advisors, often under significant time pressure.
- Direct research and analysis of companies, sectors, financial developments, media coverage and stakeholder perspectives; convert findings into actionable advice.
- Mentor junior colleagues, provide constructive feedback and help foster a collaborative, high-performing team.
Networking & Practice Development
- Contribute entrepreneurially to the growth of Brunswick’s Financial practice through new business development, proposals and thought leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and prospective clients, journalists, financial and legal advisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify emerging issues and opportunities where integrated financial communications advice can create value for clients.
What We're Looking For
- 7 – 10+ years of relevant experience in financial or corporate communications, strategic advisory, a communications agency, financial journalism, or an in-house corporate role.

- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how corporate strategy, financial performance and market developments shape reputation and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to interpret financial information and explain complex business issues clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to counsel or support senior executives and work effectively alongside financial and legal advisors.
- Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills, with experience creating high-quality materials for different stakeholder groups and communications channels.
- Sound judgment, creativity and the ability to learn new companies and sectors quickly, prioritize competing demands and operate with imperfect information.
- Experience managing projects and mentoring junior colleagues; a collaborative, proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
- Discretion, integrity and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
