About the Role
Our client, an established alternative investment manager, is seeking a Director to join its private credit investment platform, focused on providing customized financing solutions to corporate borrowers.
The role involves evaluating and executing complex credit transactions across asset-backed lending, structured financing, and corporate special situations. The investment approach emphasizes senior secured lending, collateral protection, and financing opportunities that require tailored structures.
This is a hands-on investment role with significant responsibility for underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions. The successful candidate will have strong credit judgment, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and experience independently managing transactions from initial evaluation through execution.

- Evaluate collateral quality, borrowing bases, downside protection, and potential recovery scenarios.
- Structure and negotiate financing terms, credit agreements, collateral arrangements, and other transaction documentation.
- Develop investment recommendations and present underwriting conclusions, transaction structures, and key risks to investment committees.
- Coordinate with borrowers, counterparties, legal counsel, and other transaction participants throughout the investment process.
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining high standards of analytical rigor and execution.
