BAR MANAGER

Job Summary: The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the resort's beverage outlets. He or she will also be responsible for the overseeing the bar and beverage service department.

Responsibilities:

• Developing cocktail list, wine list, and specialty drink program in consultation with the corporate bar and beverage team
• Participating in the preparation of F&B Department budget, including staffing guide and capital requirements
• Coordinating the day-to-day function of all the bars
• Ensuring inventory is updated
• Developing team members through training, coaching, and evaluations

Qualifications:

• Five years' experience in managing luxury hotel beverage operations and the ability to maintain the highest quality
• Some formal training or equivalent apprenticeship training

Work Environment:

• May be required to work outside of normal working hours, on weekends and public holidays
• Heavy guest interaction
• Walking and standing for long hours
• Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying heavy objects (50lbs)
• May be exposed to extreme temperatures
• Ability to bend, squat, sit, climb, reach and kneel
