J.P. Morgan — Private Bank , Treasury Services
About the RoleThe Treasury Sales Manager (TSM) manages and grows a portfolio of Fund, Family Office, and Foundation clients within J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank Treasury Services business. The TSM operates as a trusted advisor, identifying new business opportunities and structuring tailored Treasury Services solutions across liquidity and investments, receivables, and payments. Success in this role requires translating complex, often idiosyncratic client banking needs into integrated, risk-appropriate solutions that deepen relationships and generate sustained revenue growth. The TSM serves as the client’s single point of contact for payments and treasury strategy, coordinating closely with Bankers, Implementation, and Client Service partners to ensure a seamless experience from discovery through execution.
-
The TSM owns the full sales lifecycle for an assigned client portfolio and is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, commercial judgment, and cross-functional coordination.
- Pipeline and portfolio management. The TSM develops and maintains an active sales pipeline, partners with Bankers and Client Service teams to grow the existing book of business, and builds formal account plans for select clients to drive proactive relationship deepening. The TSM is accountable for delivering year-over-year revenue growth, expanding wallet share, and minimizing attrition through disciplined account planning and execution.
- Trusted advisory and solution design. Leading discovery conversations across liquidity and investments, receivables, and payments, the TSM diagnoses client needs and translates them into integrated, client-centric Treasury Services solutions. All recommendations are delivered within the firm’s risk parameters, balancing client objectives against the firm’s risk appetite. The TSM owns pricing coordination across all products, ensuring competitiveness while protecting margin integrity.
- Client engagement and communication. The TSM maintains an active calling plan, regularly engaging clients and prospects to convey key Treasury Services messaging, and serves as the single point of contact for payments strategy — ensuring consistent, clear messaging across every client touchpoint. The TSM structures and leads client discussions aligned to business priorities and emerging payments trends, and manages expectations by communicating timelines and deliverables up front.
- Cross-functional coordination and delivery. Working closely with Implementation and Client Service Officer (CSO) colleagues, the TSM ensures smooth handoffs and shared visibility throughout solution implementation. The TSM takes ownership of escalating client issues to the appropriate internal partner and is expected to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve complex requests efficiently.
- Talent development. The TSM actively participates in the development of junior sales associates and analysts, contributing to the team’s broader bench strength.
