Founding Account Executive

About the Role

This founding-level, full-cycle Account Executive will work directly with the CEO to turn founder-led sales into a repeatable, scalable motion at a B2B SaaS company. You will close deals while helping define the target customer, build pipeline practices, and shape the company's sales approach.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle deals from first outreach through signed contract across startup, mid-market, and enterprise accounts.

• Self-source pipeline through cold calling, personalized outbound, email, professional networking platforms, and events.

• Document and refine the sales playbook, including qualification criteria, sales stages, and forecasting practices.

• Navigate enterprise sales cycles involving security reviews, procurement, legal, and multiple stakeholders.

• Partner with the CEO and product team to test messaging, pricing, and packaging, and inform the company's upmarket strategy.

What We're Looking For

• Four or more years of Account Executive experience building and closing deals, including at least two years in a closing role.

• A consistent record of quota attainment and experience earning Presidents Club or comparable top-performer recognition.

• Background selling B2B SaaS, including closing mid-market deals and experience with sales intelligence or go-to-market platforms.

• Experience self-sourcing pipeline through outbound channels rather than relying solely on inbound or sales development leads.

• Ability to manage complex enterprise deal cycles and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $140,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week. Remote work may be considered for exceptional top performers.
