HR Generalist / People Operations Specialist- AMP HQ

Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: VP of Human Resources
FLSA Status: Exempt
Target compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Why This Role Matters

Advanced MedAesthetic Partners (AMP) is a fast-growing, multi-state healthcare organization supporting over 80 medical aesthetics locations and 22 distinct partner brands. We are looking for a people-oriented, organized HR Generalist to serve as our internal champion for people data, onboarding, payroll integration, and HR technology. If you are a resourceful HR professional who loves building clean, scalable employee experiences, keeping multi-state compliance tight, and helping field managers navigate HR systems confidently, this role offers an incredible path for impact and growth.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our corporate HR team, you will balance traditional HR operations with the optimization of our primary HRIS platform (Rippling). You will make life easier for our field teams by keeping data organized, processes seamless, and compliance airtight.

  • Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding: Design and manage smooth workflows for onboarding, offboarding, internal job changes, and policy updates across our multi-state footprint.
  • HRIS Data Integrity: Serve as the primary internal contact for our HR system of record. Run routine data audits on job codes, pay rates, and FLSA classifications to ensure total consistency across multiple legal entities and brands.
  • System Optimization & Migration: Help lead the final stages of data mapping and migration from legacy systems (like Paycom, Paylocity, and ADP) into our current platform.
  • Payroll & Benefits Operations Support: Partner closely with our Payroll & Benefits Manager to align company structures, configure earnings codes, and ensure system settings support state-specific wage-and-hour compliance.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build practical HR dashboards and custom reports to track headcount, turnover, compliance, and core operational metrics for leadership.
  • Acquisition Integration: Help welcome newly acquired medical practices by mapping their employee data into our platform and creating a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Training & Team Support: Create simple, user-friendly guides and short training sessions to help regional leaders and practice managers comfortably use self-service HR tools.

What We're Looking For

Core Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience in HR operations, HR generalist roles, or HR systems administration.
  • Strong platform agility with deep user or administrative experience in major HRIS platforms (such as Rippling, ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, or Workday).
  • Multi-state operational awareness, including an understanding of how system settings affect varied state-by-state payroll rules, compliance, and leave tracking.
  • Strong data skills, including a high level of comfort with Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, data lookups, and bulk data validation).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate system updates, processes, and tools into plain, friendly language for non-technical field employees.
  • Location: Must be located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and able to work a hybrid schedule out of our Irving/Las Colinas headquarters.

Preferred Assets (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Direct, hands-on administrative configuration experience within Rippling.
  • Prior experience supporting HR integrations within a private equity-backed, healthcare, or acquisition-driven corporate environment.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation

The target salary range for this role is $70,000–$80,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, and business needs.
