Head Tennis Coach

Full-time.  Responsible for coordinating team events, records, schedules, calendar, and communicates with families as needed; organize tennis programs, with conducting practices, motivating students, instructing student athletic in game strategies and techniques; instructing players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport; organize and direct individual and small group practices/exercises; assess players' skills, monitors players during competition and practice; determine game strategy; supervise athletes during practices and competition; follow established procedures in the event of an athlete's injury; models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, spectators; maintain the equipment room in orderly condition and assumes responsibility for its security; participate in special activities to include parent's night, banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies. Occasional in-state travel for tennis tournaments.

Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology + 12 months of relevant work experience in coaching tennis.
