Description

Quantum Sky is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Operations & Support Services (EOSS) contract. Operating within a secure, cloud-hosted enclaved environment (DoD Impact Level 4 / IL4), you will produce and maintain the security documentation that RMF authorizations, audits and daily operations depend on, turning input from system administrators and cybersecurity staff into clear, accurate, compliant documents.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Write, edit and maintain RMF artifacts: System Security Plans, control implementation statements, POA&M narratives, continuous monitoring strategies, and policies and procedures.
• Develop standard operating procedures, policies, user guides and training materials for cybersecurity processes.
• Interview cybersecurity staff and administrators to capture accurate technical detail.
• Map control descriptions to NIST SP 800-53 requirements and keep language consistent across packages.
• Manage document version control, review cycles and configuration-controlled libraries (e.g., SharePoint).
• Upload and organize artifacts in eMASS with the cybersecurity team.
• Prepare briefing slides, executive summaries and responses to assessor or inspection findings.
• Edit for clarity, accuracy, grammar and adherence to customer style guides and templates.
• Mark and handle documents correctly per data handling and CUI marking requirements.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (PWS Section 5.5.1.33.1).
  • Experience Substitution: of direct Information Assurance experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree (PWS Section 5.5.1.33.2).
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP) for the assigned work role within six months of hire.
• Public Trust, U.S. citizenship required.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, the RMF (NIST SP 800-37 / DoDI 8510.01) and DoD security policy.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, STIG compliance and security monitoring tools.
• Experience with eMASS, ACAS/Tenable, and Splunk Enterprise Security.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, RHEL, Active Directory and network security devices.

Clearance: 

• Active or favorably adjudicated Tier 3 (T3) / NACLC investigation (SF-86), or Tier 2 (T2) Public Trust / Non-Critical Sensitive IT-II investigation (SF-85P / MBI).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Common Access Card (CAC) and DHA network account.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $105,000-$135,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
