We are driving one of the most ambitious AI-enabled transformations in the global insurance industry. Over the next three years, digital transformation is expected to impact about 70% of the organization by digitizing end-to-end sales and marketing, underwriting administration and support, claims, finance, and other core functions. This effort combines AI, foundational technologies, data and analytics, and deep underwriting and operational expertise across the business. It builds on major investments already made, including data centers, large-scale data ingestion capabilities, broad deployment of AI algorithms and large language models, and a global engineering organization of more than 3,500 engineers.
This vision includes:
- Automate 85% of major underwriting and claims processes
- Run 85% of global gross written premium as a digital business or a significantly digitally enabled business
- Deliver run-rate expense savings of approximately 1.5 points of combined ratio
- Use data, AI, and process automation as the primary drivers of growth at low marginal cost
As AVP, Global Transformation Programs Lead, you will play a frontline role in Chubb’s Global Transformation Management Office (TMO), the execution engine behind the company’s major transformation priorities and business outcomes. You will help shape, enable, and advance these priorities by turning strategy into results within the business. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will be accountable for your squad’s progress on value delivery, adoption, deployment readiness, demand management across enabling functions, and leadership visibility into progress, risks, and value delivered. The TMO operates with a strong focus on value realization, early intervention, disciplined follow-through, transparent reporting, and proactive change management to drive front-line adoption. This role is well suited to a business-minded, hands-on professional who thrives in complex environments, stays highly organized, and wants direct exposure to a major AI transformation with visibility to the EVP of Transformation, executive leadership, and the Board.
In this role, you will:
- Own outcomes for assigned transformation initiatives, keeping a clear line of sight to Chubb’s business priorities and the integrated transformation roadmap
- Drive execution and value realization with urgency and precision, turning AI and digital ambition into measurable business results
- Work embedded with business and technology teams at the point of delivery to move initiatives from discussion to adoption
- Run weekly squad stand-ups, own the agenda and action log, and come prepared with RAG status, milestone progress, risks, issues, and capacity gaps
- Provide leadership with a complete view of progress, including value delivered, dependencies, escalations, and benefit realization
- Track milestone closure conditions, partner on deployment readiness, and monitor UAT, go-live logistics, adoption, and KPI cadence
- Maintain strong day-to-day partnerships with Regional Delivery Leads and represent the squad in cross-squad dependency syncs, flagging at-risk dependencies with proposed resolutions
- Own the squad risk and issue log, resolve issues at the AVP level where possible, escalate blockers promptly, and surface bad news early
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in transformation delivery, program management, management consulting, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to execute complex, cross-functional work within large organizations, with clear accountability for delivery milestones and business outcomes
- Experience working within or alongside technology and data teams, with a working understanding of how technical decisions affect delivery sequencing and business value
- Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services industry is preferred
- Genuine curiosity about how AI, data, and automation are reshaping the way a business operates
